Allows easy extrapolation from a vector elevation layer to determine the elevation between two points
Allows easy extrapolation from a vector elevation layer to determine the elevation between two points. The user is prompted to select two points between which elevation will be measured. This information, along with the layer on which the vector-elevation data resides, the attribute that represents the elevation, and selection of a suitable projection allows the elevation to be determined. The result is a 2D "side view" with a line representing line-of-sight between the two points, overlaid on a "terrain" view.
