This plugin will display the zoom level of the current map in a dockable panel. The number reported should be accurate for maps using EPSG:3857 -- no guarantees for other CRS! Note that vector tile layers in QGIS tend to get requested at a slightly different zoom level than XYZ layers. For more details about zoom levels, see https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Zoom_levels
